Panama City Beach — Visiting Once is Just Not Enough!
Published by admin May 28th, 2009 in Vacation Rental NewsPanama City Beach has long been regarded as THE place to be for Spring Break vacation. However, many do not realize that it has so much more to offer year-round! There are over 27 miles of incredibly beautiful beaches with pure white sand and emerald green waters. These beaches are kept well-groomed and manicured so that relaxing in the sun has never been so luxurious. Swimming (with dolphins!), kayaking, jet skiing, scuba diving, parasailing, boating, sailing, golfing, and fishing are common activities here as well.
There are plenty of interesting places to eat and shop and a wide variety of accommodation options also. The best attractions are located on the Front Beach Road. These include the Coconut Creek Family Fun Park, the Museum of Man and the Sea, and the Gulf World Marine Park. A couple other places you might want to check out are the Aaron Bessant Park and the Junior Museum.
Panama City Beach doesn’t lack in entertainment. Naturally the nightlife and clubs are quite lively (especially during spring break), but there are also a host of other entertainment options as well. Comedy clubs, concerts, beach clubs, and endless parties (especially those hosted by MTV during Spring Break) are in no short supply!
Shell Island is definitely worth a visit during your stay. This is the ideal place to find gorgeous seashells and do some snorkeling. You might even want to embark on a romantic dinner cruise or glass bottom boat tour while you’re here.
While the area is too far north for coral reefs, there are many artificial reefs and shipwrecks that have been strategically placed for your exploration. The water is very warm and clear, making scuba diving and snorkeling very enjoyable. There are many tours available out into the Gulf of Mexico for saltwater fishing or dolphin watching.
Some great places to walk and just enjoy nature are the M.B. Miller County Pier, St. Andrews State Park, Eden Gardens State Park, Falling Waters State Park, and the Dan Russell Pier. If you’re an avid golfer, you might want to try the Lagoon Legends course at Marriott‘s Bay Point Resort. It has been rated as one of the world’s most difficult golf courses. The TPC at Sawgrass is another immensely popular course.
Whether you are visiting Panama City Beach because of Spring Break or are wanting a quieter vacation at some other time of year, there is plenty to do and see. Year-round this is an attractive vacation destination for people of all ages. You won’t find more beautiful beaches anywhere else, so book your next vacation today! We look forward to your visit!
