Vacations need to be more than just a week of not working. They can be an enriching experience that opens your minds to new thoughts, ideas and can possibly change your outlook altogether. When was the last vacation that you remember coming back a different person?

Daytona Beach Bike Week -Daytona Beach, Florida

A tradition since January 24, 1937 – marked by the inaugural running of the Daytona 200 – Bike Week has become a 10-day festival that takes place throughout Daytona Beach and Volusia County. Hundreds of thousands of motorcycle enthusiasts now enjoy hundreds of events annually.

Florida Film Festival - Orlando, Florida: The Oscars just got done. Slumdog Millionaire captured America's hearts. What's it gonna be in 2009? Relax to the latest movie hits at the Florida Film Festival. Cutting-edge American independent and international film paired with fine cuisine and wine will take a bow at the 18th annual Florida Film Festival, March 27 through April 5, 2009. If you and your family are into movies, this could be a perfect evening event during your vacation.

Florida Strawberry Festival - Plant City, Florida (near Tampa and Orlando): The Florida Strawberry Festival® takes place in beautiful Plant City, Florida, the "Winter Strawberry Capital of the World", just minutes from Tampa and Orlando on Interstate-4. If you are a connoisseur of food and wine or natural fruits, this might be the one for you. Florida citrus fruits are famous around the world.
