As you mentioned, the majority of travelers think of hotels by default, but it seems this trend is changing, and vacation rentals are gaining a lot of momentum...and rightly so. Vacation rentals have a lot of benefits to offer that hotels cannot compare to...less expensive, more room, greater comfort, home cooked meals, etc. It will be great to watch the continued growth in 2009. 17% growth in a down economy and slipping real estate market!
