Autumn Magic in Miami

Published October 17th, 2007 in Florida Cities - What 2 See

Miami, Florida, sizzles with excitement – but not heat – when you visit in the fall. Miami stays warm all year long, but you’ll avoid the extreme heat and humidity if you visit “Little Cuba” in October or November. Don’t worry, the temperatures might cool when summer ends, but the fun is still heating up!

You know what fall means – football season! Fans of the gridiron can go watch the Miami Dolphins play on their home turf. For those who prefer college ball, head to the Orange Bowl Stadium and watch the Miami Hurricanes take the field.

Miami has plenty of fall festivals to choose from. You can soak up some of the city’s famous Latin culture at “Celebrando Contigo.” Your kids will love “PJs in the Park.” Free food and games and the whole day in their jammies!

Miami’s warm fall weather will allow you to spend as much time outdoors as you like. Animal lovers will enjoy Parrot Jungle Island or an afternoon at the zoo. If you want to become one with nature, visit the Everglades National Park – just be sure to keep an out for alligators!

It’s the end of a long day, and you’re ready for a good night’s sleep. Deluxe accommodations are available throughout Miami. You already know about hotels and resorts, but you should also look into vacation rentals. Staying in a cottage, condo, or townhouse during your trip is a whole new experience. It’s easy to explore the possibilities if you use a site like www.VacationRentalHotSpots.com.

Now that you’re awake and refreshed after a restful night’s sleep in your vacation rental, it’s time to get up and moving again! For fine arts and culture, you can go see a ballet, listen to a symphony orchestra, or wander through one of Miami’s several art museums.

When all that sightseeing makes you hungry, be sure to stop by Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. for a bite to eat. Who knows? You might even run into Forrest!
